Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will file nominations on November 9 for the state Assembly elections scheduled on November 30. KCR is set to file nominations for two Assembly seats Gajwel and Kamareddy on the same day, reported IANS, by quoting sources. Telangana elections are scheduled to take place on November 30 and the counting will be held on December 3.
On November 9, KCR is scheduled to visit Konayapalli Venkateswara Swami Temple in the Siddipet constituency. He will then perform and attend a special pooja before filling the nominations. By 3 p.m. on the same day, KCR will likely address a public meeting.
According to a statement from the CMO, KCR will hold a meeting with party candidates at Telangana Bhawan on October 15. He will provide form B to BRS candidates and explain certain rules and regulations for the elections.
On the same day, KCR will also release the manifesto of the party and address a mammoth public rally at Husanabad Assembly constituency at 4 p.m.
The BRS Chief also has public meetings lined up in various assembly constituencies. On October 16, the Chief will attend meetings in Jangaon and Bhongir. The following day, on October 17, the Chief will participate in meetings in Siddipet and Sircilla. Finally, on October 18, KCR is scheduled to join public meetings in Jadcharia constituency at 2 p.m. and Medchal constituency at 4 p.m.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) formally announced the date for Telangana Assembly Elections 2023 on Monday. According to ECI and Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar, the polls are scheduled to take place on November 30 in a single phase. The counting of votes is set to take place on December 3.
Till now, early trends predict a close contest between Bharat Rashtra Samithi and Congress in the state led by KCR.
