Hyderabad: Telangana Minister for IT and Industries, KT Rama Rao, will attend the Asia Leaders Series meeting, which will be held in Zurich on October 4. Minister KTR received the invitation for the conference from Callam Fletcher, Founder, Asia Leaders Series, an official release said on Wednesday.


The Asia Leaders Series is a neutral platform that promotes free communication between the most influential leaders in Asia and Europe while promoting diversity, encouraging collaboration, and cultivating relationships of trust.


Eminent people, business people and politicians from various fields of Asia and Europe will participate in this conference. 


"Our goal is to inspire a meaningful and thought-provoking discussion among respected, influential figures such as yourself, Callam Fletcher, founder of the Asia Leaders Series, said in the invitation letter to Minister KTR.

Leaders from Europe are expected to attend, including John Scarlett, the former head of the British intelligence service MI6, Margarita Louis-Dreyfus, the chair of LDC Group, Lord Jim O'Neill, the former Chairman of Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Dr Jordi Gual, the non-executive chairman of VidaCaixa, Dr Gerard Lyons, a board member from the United Kingdom at the Bank of China, and Lord Stephen Green, the former Group CEO & Chairman of HSBC.


The meeting will discuss the growing political uncertainty at the international level and its impact on large companies serving the Europe-Asia corridor. 


Minister expressed his happiness on receiving the invitation from Asian Leaders Series. He said this would be a good platform for sharing ideas with prominent people from different fields. Attending such conferences gives an excellent opportunity to present Telangana state on the international stage.


KTR has participated in many international conferences in the past.
