Telangana IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao inaugurated the facility of Bosch Global Software Technologies in Hyderabad on Wednesday. The company offers solutions in artificial intelligence and focuses on research and development.


Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, the IT Minister stated that through the new 1.5 lakh sq ft facility, which provides employment to over 3,000 people, Bosch will strengthen its presence in the automotive engineering domain.






Rao said, " Bosch’s new campus is testimony to the engineering talent and innovation ecosystem present in Telangana. Our government’s focus on providing world-class infrastructure to tech companies helped attract various corporations while propelling Hyderabad as the ideal tech city in the country."

The minister said Telangana is setting up Mobility Valley in the state and will have multiple stakeholders like EV manufacturers, battery makers, recyclers, and others in the ecosystem. It will have designated zones for engineering, manufacturing, battery testing, innovation, and talent. 


Minister KTR said that many multinational companies make conservative plans with recruitment numbers. However, they recruit more due to the conducive business environment and availability of manpower in Telangana. He also stated that Bosch intended to establish a Center of Excellence with BITS.
