Hyderabad: Four persons were killed and three others injured in a road accident in the Nizamabad district of Telangana on Wednesday. The accident occurred when a car overturned after one of its tyres burst near Kothapalli at Mupkal Bypass on the Hyderabad-Nagpur highway.
According to the ABP Desam report, they were travelling from Hyderabad to Nirmal. The car's tyre exploded when reaching the Mupkal bypass. Due to this, the vehicle overturned, flipped two or three times and hit the railing on the side of the road. Four people lost their lives on the spot in this accident.
A total of seven people were travelling in a car. Four of them are children, and three are adults. Two kids are among the deceased. The injured were admitted to Armoor government hospital. Two children were among those injured.

The police identified that all the deceased and injured in the accident were from Tolichowki in Hyderabad. Locals informed the police after the accident. Mupkal police reached the spot and collected details about the accident. A case has been registered, and further investigation is on, said a police officer.
Earlier on Monday, five persons were killed in a road accident on the Amaravati-Anantapur National Highway near Cumbam, Prakasam district. The accident occurred when a car rammed into a truck from the rear. All five people in the car died on the spot. According to police details, the deceased were on their way to Balaji temple in Tirupati from Macherla.
The police identified that all five who were killed in the accident belonged to the same family. The relatives and kin of the deceased have been informed. Police suspect that overspeeding led to the collision.
