Telangana Elections: BRS and Congress have a mutual understanding with BRS deciding Congress' ticket, said union Minister Anurag Thakur while campaigning for BJP in poll-bound Telangana on Saturday. Further, the Minister told the people that BJP would give the state a Chief Minister from the Backward Community (BC) if they were elected to power. The voting for Telangana Assembly Elections 2023 is scheduled for November 30, starting at 5 AM and concluding at 5 PM, with some locations concluding at 4 PM. 


According to ANI, Union Minister Anurag Thakur said, "It is being heard that BRS is deciding Congress' tickets...It is clear that BRS & Congress have a mutual understanding...Congress for a long time made false promises to women of the country...BJP will give the state a CM from the backward community."

The counting of votes will be done on December 3.


Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) on Thursday released its third list of candidates for ensuing the assembly elections in Telangana. The list contains the names of 35 candidates for the Nov 30 polls. The party has fielded Dinesh Kulachari from Nizamabad Rural, and Pally Babu Mohan from Andole (SC). Mekala Sarangapani will contest from Secunderabad and Chittaranjan Das from Jadcheria. The list has only one woman candidate -- Challa Srilatha Reddy and she will be fighting the elections from Huzurnagar.


The party has pitted Lankala Deepak Reddy against Congress's Mohammad Azharuddin from Jubilee Hills. BRS has fielded Maganti Gopinath from this seat.
