Amid PM Modi's visit to Telangana, the Congress in the poll-bound state put up cut-outs showing CM KCR and AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi as "puppets" of the PM in arterial roads of Hyderabad on Saturday. The cut-outs come days after Congress repeatedly alleged that Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) are B-teams of BJP.

On Saturday, Telangana Congress took to the campaign on the day PM Modi was scheduled to visit Hyderabad. The cut-outs showed PM Modi handling KCR and Owaisi with threads like puppets. The cut-outs have been placed in places including Begumpet and Hi-tech city of Hyderabad. Throughout the day, the cut-outs drew the attention of the passersby, as reported by ANI.

Earlier, Telangana Congress even punctured a pink car (symbol and colour of BRS) during poll campaigns.

Meanwhile, PM Modi is set to address a public gathering at Parade Grounds in Hyderabad on Saturday as part of his outreach to Scheduled Caste communities before the upcoming Telangana Assembly Elections.

On PM Modi's visit to Telangana, state BJP chief & Union minister G Kishan Reddy said, " PM Modi will attend a function 'Viswarup Mahasabha' organised for 'neglected' class in the society...they have been neglected by the govt and the society so to give them hope, PM Modi is attending this event."
