Sharmila Offers To Gift Copy Of Constitution To CM KCR, Slams Him For Injustice Against Dalits
YS Sharmila wanted to proceed to the Chief Minister's official residence to gift him a copy of the Constitution but was stopped by the police.
YSR Telangana Party chief YS Sharmila on Friday offered to gift a copy of the Constitution to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao while accusing him of not keeping promises made to Dalits. Sharmila, talking to reporters after paying tribute to Dr Ambedkar at Tank Bund on his birth anniversary, slammed KCR for insulting the Babasaheb-drafted Constitution.
She wanted to proceed to the Chief Minister's official residence to gift him a copy of the Constitution but was stopped by the police. "On this occasion, YSRTP is happy to gift the Indian Constitution to KCR. We hope it opens his eyes and compels him to respect and implement the Constitution," said Sharmila.
She alleged that in Telangana, there was no freedom of speech or the right to protest.
Sharmila alleged that KCR insulted Babasaheb and the Constitution with his words and deeds. "In Telangana, KCR's constitution reigns supreme, where there is no freedom of speech and no right to protest. KCR's constitution is all about corruption, nepotism, and fake promises. From the Dalit Chief Minister to Dalit Bandhu, Dalits have been cheated and neglected," she said.
She alleged that KCR has also failed to keep his promise to give three acres of land to every Dalit family.

KCR Should Apologise To Dalits: Telangana BJP Chief Bandi Sanjay
Telangana BJP President Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Friday demanded that CM K Chandrasekhar Rao apologise to Dalits for "betraying the community". Sanjay, talking to reporters after paying tribute to Dr BR Ambedkar on his birth anniversary at the BJP office, alleged that the lands of Dalits were being encroached on in the state.
He said if KCR was sincere about the economic empowerment of Dalits, he should release a white paper on the Dalit Bandhu scheme. He also wanted to know why the BRS government was taking education and medicine away from the poor without providing funds for fee reimbursement and Arogyasri.
