India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said there would be heavy rains in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana districts on Wednesday. The IMD has issued a yellow alert with the forecast of heavy rain in some places.


The low pressure formed over the North West Bay of Bengal along the coasts of North Odisha and West Bengal has spread up to 5.8 km above the mean sea level. According to the Meteorological Center, it is likely to move west and northwest over North Odisha and Chhattisgarh in the next 36 hours.


Due to its effect, Hyderabad and Amaravati Meteorological Centers have revealed that moderate to heavy rains are likely to occur in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for the next two days.


Weather in Telangana 


Moderate to heavy rains will occur in Telangana state on Wednesday. The Regional Meteorological Center (Hyderabad) has said that moderate to heavy rains will occur for the next three days. 


A yellow alert has been issued in Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Jayashankar Bhupalapalli, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Nizamabad, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Vikarabad, Medak, Sangareddy, Kamareddy districts due to the forecast of heavy rain on Wednesday.






Weather In Andhra Pradesh


The Regional Meteorological Center (Amaravati) said that moderate to heavy rains will occur in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday as the low pressure formed in the Bay of Bengal strengthened and moved towards the west and northwest. 


There is a chance of thunder and lightning showers. Gusty winds will blow at 30 to 40 kilometres per hour. Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam districts will receive rains from September 21-24. A warning has been issued for the possibility of thunderstorms.
