India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an orange alert in Hyderabad city until Sunday. Charminar, Abids, Malakpet, and Amberpet had significant rains on Wednesday. Severe water-logging affected numerous areas of Hyderabad, including Banjara Hills, Khairatabad, Raj Bhavan and Amberpet.


The Meteorological Center in Hyderabad has said that possibilities of heavy rains in Hyderabad for the next four days. In this regard, the respective areas were issued yellow and orange alerts.






According to the details tweeted by the officials of Hyderabad Meteorological Center, there would be heavy to very heavy rains in the districts of Adilabad, Peddapalli, Kumaran Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Karimnagar, Kothagudem, Jayashankar Bhupalapalli, MuluguA yellow alert has been issued to this extent.

A yellow alert has been issued in Suryapet, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Khammam Nalgonda, Medak Mahbubabad, Janagam, Siddipet, Hyderabad and districts saying that there is a possibility of heavy rains here and there.


Hyderabad met office predicted there would be heavy rains in Karimnagar, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Rajanna Siricilla, Bhupalapalli, Kothagudem, Mulugu, Adilabad, Mahabubabad, Malkajgiri, Kumaran Bheem Asifabad, Khammam, Nalgonda, Hanmakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Warangal, Rangareddy, Suryapet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Nirmal and Nizamabad districts of Telangana on Friday.
