After a video of a woman kicking the lamps lit and abusing the neighbours on Diwali in Hyderabad went viral, police on Wednesday clarified that there's no Christian-Hindu angle and neighbours had some issues.


In a tweet, news agency ANI said, "A viral video on social media shows a woman kicking Diyas & abusing neighbours as they were trying to light Diyas on Diwali."


"There was no Christian-Hindu angle, neighbours had some issues. Case filed against woman kicking Diyas," Chikkadpali inspector said as quoted by news agency ANI, adding that the probe is still on.

In a video, the woman is seen kicking the lamps lit by her neighbours and later she along with her family was seen hurling abuses at the neigbours for lighting lamps. She also tried to slap the neigbours with slippers. Meanwhile, there were reports that there was an angle of Christian-Hindu angle, which was finally rubbished by Chikkadpalli police on Wednesday.
