In a shocking incident, a man allegedly sexually assaulted a five-year-old kindergarten student in Hyderabad's Banjara Hills. The child's parents filed a complaint at Banjara Hills police station, after which they arrested the man, who works as a driver for the principal of a private school. Angry parents thrashed the accused driver and the school principal while alleging that he molested the child multiple times.
The victim's family along with several other parents held a protest against the school management on Tuesday and they demanded justice and punishment for the accused driver. Banjara Hills police booked the accused under Sections 376 (rape) of the IPC and POCSO Act.

Meanwhile, the victim was sent to a Bharosa centre for counselling where the child revealed how the accused has taken advantage of her. said The New Indian Express report. Police have also noted that other parents have complained about the driver to the school principal.
While parents alleged that the school principal hasn't taken any action on the driver, they also demanded stern action against the school principal. Police have arrested the accused driver while the school principal is absconding.
The victim's parents in the complaint mentioned that they noticed the difference in change in their child's behaviour for a few months now. Upon asking her, the child broke down in front of her parents on Monday and revealed to them about the driver's acts in the digital classroom.
During the arrests, parents of the child and other parents thrashed the accused and the police took him into custody with a his face bleeding. Some of the parents, whose children study in the same school, have taken the issue to Twitter and alleged that police are also in support of the absconding principal.
