Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone and dedicated numerous projects worth over Rs 9500 crores to the country today at Ramagundam, Telangana. In his address to the gathering, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that initiatives unveiled and foundation stones put in today will help agriculture and agricultural prosperity.
PM Modi said that the fertiliser industry demonstrates the central government's sincere efforts. Recalling the days when India had to rely on other nations to satisfy its fertiliser demands, the Prime Minister stated that several fertiliser facilities that had previously been established had to close owing to antiquated technology, including the Ramagundam Plant, according to a press release issued by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).
On the one hand, he noted that the entire globe is coping with the corona epidemic and is being affected by tough conditions of war and military activities, as per the statement.
The Prime Minister made a visit to the Ramagundam Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (RFCL) factory earlier today.
“But among all of this”, PM Modi stated, “experts are predicting that India is moving in the direction of becoming the third largest economy.” Experts, the Prime Minister said, are also saying that growth equivalent to 30 years from the 90s will take place in the coming few years, as per the official statement.

“The chief reason for this perception is the change that has taken place in the country during the last 8 years. India has changed its approach to doing work in the last 8 years. In these 8 years thinking as well as the approach of governance has undergone a transformation”, the PM stated, as per the statement.
This can be seen in infrastructure, government processes, ease of doing business, and transformations which are being inspired by the aspirational society of India, he added.
“A new India presents itself to the world with self-confidence and aspirations of development," the statement read.
Prime Minister Modi stated that development is a 365-day-a-year objective in the country. He further added that when a dedication to a project is carried out, work on new projects begins simultaneously.
The Prime Minister also stressed that efforts are being made to accelerate the development of projects whose foundation stones have been placed, with the Ramagundam project serving as an example. On August 7, 2016, the Prime Minister lay the foundation stone for the Ramagundam Project, according to the official statement.
The Prime Minister stated that the India of the twenty-first century may advance through achieving ambitious goals.
“When the aim is ambitious, we have to come up with new methodologies and create new facilities”, the Prime Minister said, as per the statement.
He further added that urea, which was imported at exorbitant prices, was black-marketed instead of reaching farmers.
