After Facebook, parent Meta has now made its personalised 3D avatars available for WhatsApp. Company CEO Mark Zuckerberg made the announcement of rolling out avatars to WhatsApp on his Facebook page. He added that more styles are coming soon across Meta's family of apps. Meta-owned WhatsApp is the world's most popular instant messaging platform with more than two billion users.

"We're bringing avatars to WhatsApp! Now you can use your avatar as a sticker in chats. More styles coming soon across all our apps," Zuckerberg wrote on his Facebook wall.
Meanwhile, an avatar is a digital version of a user that can be created from billions of combinations of diverse hairstyles, facial features, and outfits. On WhatsApp, one can now use their personalised avatar as your profile photo or choose from one of 36 custom stickers reflecting many different emotions and actions.
"Sending an avatar is a fast and fun way to share feelings with friends and family. It can also be a great way to represent yourself without using your real photo so it feels more private," WhatsApp wrote in a blog post.

"For many people, this will be the first time creating an avatar and we'll continue to deliver style enhancements including lighting, shading, hairstyle textures, and more that will make avatars even better over time," the Meta-owned messaging platform added.
Meanwhile, WhatsAppis set to launch 21 new emojis on Android beta. WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.22.25.12 will include 21 new emojis, for a future update of the app, WABetaInfo, a WhatsApp update tracker has recently said. This comes amid reports of WhatsApp is likely to get a much-anticipated feature of giving users the ability to use one WhatsApp account on two devices. Currently, WhatsApp users automatically get logged out from their primary smartphones if they also log into their accounts through a tablet.
