Tecno Showcases Tri-Fold Phantom Ultimate 2 Concept


The foldable smartphone market has experienced a significant surge in popularity since the introduction of Samsung's Galaxy Fold. While dual-fold devices have become increasingly common, the industry has yet to see a commercially available tri-fold smartphone. However, this may soon change, as Tecno has recently unveiled an innovative concept device that could revolutionise the foldable phone landscape. At the IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin) event, Tecno presented its Phantom Ultimate 2, a remarkably slim tri-fold smartphone. This device features a compact 6.48-inch display in its folded state, which can be expanded to reveal an impressive 10-inch LTPO OLED screen. When fully unfolded, the display boasts a resolution of 1,620 x 2,880 pixels and a 4:3 aspect ratio, offering users a tablet-like experience in a pocketable form factor.


Telegram CEO Pavel Durov Released From Custody


Telegram founder Pavel Durov, the CEO of popular encrypted messaging app Telegram, has been released after being held for four days by authorities. The detention was related to an investigation into alleged illegal activities involving the messaging app, the media has reported. A judge has ended Durov's time in police custody, but he is still required to appear in court. The Paris prosecutor's office stated that this court appearance could potentially lead to formal charges being filed, says a report by Euronews.

Apple-Owned Beats Forays Into India's Audio Market


Beats, the renowned audio brand owned by Apple, has entered the Indian market by introducing three audio devices. The company has unveiled the Beats Solo Buds wireless earphones, Beats Solo 4 on-ear headphones, and the Beats Pill Bluetooth speaker. These premium audio offerings are now available for pre-order via Apple's official website in India, with general availability slated to begin on September 4. The launch marks Beats' intent to expanding its presence in the  Indian market, which is dominated by Sony, Sennheiser, and others. Amazon To Overhaul Alexa, The Smarter Personal Assistant Might Cost You A Subscription Fees


Amazon is gearing up to launch a delayed overhaul of Alexa in October. The Washington Post reported that the tech giant is facing new competition from artificial intelligence voice assistants from its rivals. Post this overhaul, access to the upgraded version will require you to pay a subscription fees. As per the internal documents which were allegedly seen by the Washington Post, Amazon will release this upgraded version of Alexa just weeks before the US Presidential elections.
