Price of the Pac-Man edition of upcoming OnePlus Nord 2 has been revealed days after the handset maker officially teased the launch of the model.


The upcoming limited edition smartphone from OnePlus will be available for Rs 37,999 in a single configuration model in India. According to a report in Android Central, the Nord 2 Pac-Man limited edition model will be launched in a single variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage and it will be available for Rs 37,999 ($512) in India, £499 in the UK ($673) and €529 ($612) in Europe.


Earlier last week, OnePlus, through an official teaser notified that it is slated to launch the OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man edition in India soon. The product teaser did not mention any details about the OnePlus Nord 2, the image did indicate that it will be related to the Pac-Man game.


According to Oliver Zhang, who oversees OnePlus's product portfolio, OnePlus's special edition products aim to cater to two areas: they should meet the "signature Fast and Smooth experience" that the company is known for, and the product should be "refreshing, exciting, and memorable", the Android Central report added.


The upcoming device will be a modified variant of the OnePlus Nord 2. However, most of the specifications of the Pac-Man edition of the OnePlus Nord 2 is likely to be the same as the plain Nord 2 that was launched earlier this year. According to a new leak, the Pac-Man Edition of OnePlus Nord 2 will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset instead of the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chip that was used in the regular Nord 2.

The OnePlus Nord 2 arrived with a a 6.43-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The top left corner of the phone had a cut out for the 32MP front camera. There was a triple-camera setup on the back with 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP, 119-degree ultrawide camera and a 2MP monochrome camera. The handset is priced in India at Rs. 27,999 for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.


Other specs of the device included an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset, a 4,500mAh battery with support for Warp Charge 65.
