New Delhi: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who received the Padma Shri Award earlier today, shared a video on her social media expressing her heartfelt gratitude for this prestigious award. The ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ producer took to her Instagram and revealed in her video that she is extremely grateful to the Government of India for this prestigious honour that she received for being a citizen of this country.
Sharing the video, Kangana Ranaut wrote, “Humbled for this great honour…Padmashri Heartfelt gratitude for my Guru and Parents”.
Also, earlier this year, Kangana Ranaut received the National Film Award for the fourth time. She was honoured with the Best Actress Award for her performances in ‘Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi’ and ‘Panga’.
Post receiving the National Film Award, Kangana Ranaut penned down a note for her parents and shared beautiful pictures with them. The note read, “We all grow up with a deep desire to be worthy of our parents love, care and sacrifices…After all the troubles I give my mummy papa such days seem to make up for all those mischiefs. Thank you for being my mummy papa I wouldn’t want it any other way.”

Speaking about her upcoming works, Kangana Ranaut also revealed the first look poster of her upcoming film as a producer ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ earlier today. The movie will be bankrolled under her production house Manikarnika Films’ and will feature Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur playing the lead roles. Take a look at the poster here:
Kangana Ranaut, on the other hand, will be next seen featuring in a lead role in ‘Tejas’, ‘Dhaakad’, ‘Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda’, ‘Emergency’ and ‘Sita: The Incarnation’.
