Meta owned Instagram is quite a popular app for people across age groups. One of the reasons for this is its dedication to continue enhancing the overall user experience. Meta has released a number of features that were aimed at improving the app for users. Some of those changes were received well, whereas some were not received that well. Instagram has introduced a new comment feature for Stories, allowing users to post comments that will be publicly visible to all viewers for 24 hours. It remains unclear if these comments can be archived. In addition to this update, the Meta-owned platform has rolled out new fonts and text animations and launched the Instagram Creator Lab in India, supporting both English and Hindi. Previously, users could only reply to stories privately, but now comments are visible to everyone.
Additionally, Adam Mosseri, head of the social media platform, has announced that Instagram will focus more on short-form content rather than long videos, emphasising that short-form content fosters better connections with others.
How To Add Comments On Instagram Story Of Your Friends
- Open the Instagram app on your mobile device and then open the story of the friend whose story you want to comment on.
- At the bottom of your screen you will see a comment button. Click on it to open the comment box.
- Type the comment that you want to leave on your friend's story.
- Once you've typed the comment, click on 'Send'.
- The person whose story you commented on will receive this comment. If they choose to repsond to your comment then you will be notified.
