Sony has kicked off the celebrations for PlayStation's 30th birthday, and it seems like during the celebrations it has leaked the design of the upcoming PlayStation 5 Pro (PS5). Sony posted a blog post earlier along with a 30th anniversary image. Gaming enthusiasts are known to have sharp eyes that could spot even the tiniest bit of detail. In this celebration post, some eagle-eyed observers have been able to spot a strange design that, in a way, resembles the PS5 design.

Coincidentally, a sketch image of the PS5 Pro was leaked recently and the image in Sony's celebration post matches that sketch image perfectly.

Sony Teases PS5 Pro

Earlier last week, Dealabs reported that it had seen retail packaging for the PS5 Pro and then created a sketch of it that showed three black stripes in the middle of the outer facades of the console. The three black strips that we are talking about are not the one that you will get to see in PS5. What made gaming enthusiasts even more confident about PS5 Pro is that the celebration image also features the existing PS5 model with a single stripe through the middle.

According to Dealabs, Sony was expected to make this announcement during the first half of September but what it never expected was for the company to share a teaser image of PS5 Pro in the 30th Anniversary celebration image. The official PlayStation account on Instagram even posted the image with a “Your first look 👀” link.

It has been confirmed that we will indeed be seeing a PS5 Pro soon. Even developers have been gearing up to make their games ready for this new console. According to a report by the Verge, a source familiar with Sony PS5 Pro plans has said that all games released on or after September 16th need to support the PS5 Pro. It seems like Sony might soon make the official announcement about the arrival of the new PS5 i.e., PS5 Pro.
