Samsung Galaxy S24 series was launched during the Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event on Wednesday. During the event, it announced a partnership with Instagram and Snapchat to offer the same camera quality on the apps which the stock camera app offers on the device. After this update, these third-party photo and video-sharing platforms will be able to make maximum use of the capabilities of the primary camera of all variants of the series i.e., Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra.
During the event, the South Korean manufacturer announced that the integration would allow Galaxy S24 users to access native camera experiences, including Super HDR advanced AI image editing, Nightography, and video stabilisation while capturing photos or videos via Instagram or Snapchat's cameras.
If we talk about the previous generation of smartphones, the cameras of Instagram and Snapchat used to take a screenshot of the viewfinder which reduced the quality and affected the detailing of the image which could have been captured with the main camera. This trio by Samsung will become the first-ever smartphone camera to have HDR-enabled photos on Instagram.
