Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ Price Cut By Rs 10,000 Ahead Of Galaxy S24 Launch. Here's How Much They Cost Now

Samsung Galaxy S23 price has been reduced down to Rs 64,999.

Days ahead of the much-anticipated launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series on January 17, the South Korean tech giant has notably reduced prices of its soon-to-be previous-generation flagships — Samsung Galaxy S23 and Samsung Galaxy S23+ — in India. These revised prices are now reflected on various platforms, including the official Samsung online store, as well as popular retailers such as Amazon and Flipkart, showcasing a noteworthy reduction of Rs 10,000 from their original price tags.

Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ New Price After Cut

The Galaxy S23, which originally debuted in February of the previous year, is currently available at a reduced price of Rs 64,999 for the base configuration with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The higher-end variant, featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, is now priced at Rs 69,999. In contrast, the initial launch prices for these configurations were Rs 74,999 and Rs 79,999, respectively.

Similarly, the Galaxy S23+, with its robust features, is now listed at Rs 84,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, down from its original launch price of Rs 94,999. Furthermore, the 8GB RAM + 512GB storage option is available for Rs 94,999, instead of the initial Rs 1,04,999.

These updated price points are visible on key platforms such as the Samsung online store, Amazon India, and Flipkart. This strategic reduction in prices aligns with Samsung's past practices, where the company tends to slash prices of previous flagship models following the introduction of new iterations.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Specifications

To recap the specifications of the Galaxy S23 series, both models boast impressive features such as a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, driven by a custom Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy. The devices sport a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary wide-angle sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera. Additionally, they incorporate a 12-megapixel selfie sensor.

Battery-wise, the Galaxy S23 is equipped with a 3,900mAh battery supporting 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S23+ packs a larger 4,700mAh battery with 45W wired charging capabilities. As excitement builds for the imminent Galaxy S24 series launch, these discounted prices offer consumers an attractive opportunity to acquire last year's flagship devices at a more affordable rate.
