New Delhi: Samsung is set to refresh its Galaxy F series in India next month with the Galaxy F23 5G smartphone. The tech giant has made some details of the upcoming Galaxy F23 official ahead of the scheduled launch in India and according to that, the smartphone will be unveiled on March 8.
The Samsung Galaxy F23 5G will go on sale on Flipkart as a micro-site for the upcoming device has gone live on the e-commerce site. The previous iteration in the Galaxy F line was the Samsung Galaxy F22 5G that was announced in India for Rs 14,499. The smartphone is likely to be priced between Rs 15,000 and Rs 20,000, and will compete with the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T 5G, Realme 9 Pro, Poco X3 Pro 5G.
It has been already confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy F23 5G will feature a full HD+ screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. According to a Geekbench listing, the device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chip coupled with 6GB of RAM and the device will run on Android 12 OS. There is likely to be an 8GB RAM variant too with 128GB storage.
Apart from Flipkart, the device will also be available on Samsung.com and other retail outlets. Samsung has done well in the Rs 15,000-Rs 30,000 segment in India and the launch of Galaxy F23 may help the company consolidate its market leadership. The company launched a series of smartphones in Galaxy F portfolio last year and Galaxy F42 5G was its first 5G smartphone in the series. The Galaxy F42 5G comes with 64MP triple camera with night mode, 6.6-inch FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate and 12 bands 5G support.
Galaxy F42 5G was launched in 6GB+128GB variant priced at Rs 20,999 and 8GB+128GB variant priced at Rs 22,999.
