Oppo Enco Buds 2 budget TWS earbuds were on Thursday launched in India. Successor to the popular Enco Buds, the Oppo Enco Buds 2 budgets earbuds would be available on the company's own Oppo Store and e-commerce site Flipkart for a price of Rs 1,799 starting August 31. This pair of affordable TWS buds comes with Dolby Atmos support and an AI noise cancellation feature.

The Oppo Enco Buds 2 will be available in only a black colour variant starting August 31.

The new Enco Buds 2 earbuds from Oppo come with Bluetooth v5.2 for connectivity and have a range of up to 10 metres. The Enco Buds 2 features a 10mm large driver that claimed to move more air into a user's ears for better bass performance. The titanium diaphragm coating on the drivers improves the earbuds’ treble for an overall balanced sound, the company claimed.

The TWS buds support Oppo’s proprietary Enco Live Stereo Sound Effects along with Dolby Atmos which features three types of settings: Original Sound, Bass Boost and Clear Vocals. The TWS also have IPX4 rating for weather-proofing that certifies them against sweat during workouts and water splashes. The Oppo Enco Buds 2 claim to support seven hours of listening on a full charge, with three recharges from the case for up to 28 hours of listening.  Also, the buds support fast charging that can render up to an hour of playback time with 10 minutes of charge.


For calls, the Oppo Enco Buds 2 come with AI deep noise cancellation algorithms that simulate binaural hearing, based on a deep neural network (DNN), to track human voices and separate them from background noises in real-time. The Oppo Enco Buds 2 also offer smart connect function which enables quick pairing that lets users tap on a pop-up window on their phone to pair the buds for the first time on their device.


The Oppo Enco Buds 2 also offers a low latency rate of up to 80ms for dedicated gaming mode.


The affordable TWS buds feature touch control buttons that lets users control the camera with a double tap. The new Oppo Enco Buds 2 comes with a 40mAh battery while there is a 460mAh battery in the charging case which is oval-shaped.


Meanwhile, OnePlus is also working to launch a new Nord Buds in the India market soon, a new leak suggested last week.
