Handset maker OnePlus has officially teased Android 13-based Oxygen OS 13 that would be unveiled along with the upcoming OnePlus 10T 5G smartphone at an event in New York City globally, including India on August 3. It should be noted that the OnePlus 10T will be the first device with the T nomenclature after the OnePlus 8T. The T iteration started with the release of the OnePlus 3T back in 2016.

"With the OnePlus 10T, we’re taking this concept to the next level – evolving the device’s upgrades beyond improvements to speed alone by leveraging new technologies to deliver key advancements to the OnePlus experience," the company CEO Pete Lau said in a statement.

While the OnePlus 10T 5G would be the star of the launch, a big highlight would be the OxygenOS 13 too that according to OnePlus, OxygenOS 13 would bring a range of improvements to gaming, connectivity and customisation among other features. OxygenOS 13 will launch first on the OnePlus 10 Pro that was unveiled in March, followed by the OnePlus 10T later this year. You can watch the official teaser of the OxygenOS 13 in the video embedded below.

Meanwhile, the OnePlus 10T would come with a top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. "The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is one of many reasons we’re confident the OnePlus 10T will satisfy anyone who craves ultimate performance. Naturally, we’ll have more to say about our next flagship as we move closer to its in-person launch," Lau added.

According to famed tipster @OnLeaks, “live pictures of the pre-production unit” of the purported OnePlus 10T had surfaced late last month, thus, suggesting that the phone would look similar to the OnePlus 10 Pro. The OnePlus 10T is likely to be launched in two colour variants: green and black.
