New Delhi: OnePlus refreshed its Nord lineup with the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G in India. The company also unveiled two new televisions under the Y1S series in the country on Thursday, the OnePlus TV Y1S and Y1S Edge. The price of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 starts at Rs 23,999 in India. The company has also announced bank offers during the launch and as per them, buyers with an ICICI Bank Credit Card can avail of a Rs 1,500 discount on buying the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G via Amazon.in. It will also be available on the company's India website.


The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G comes in two storage models: a base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage that is priced at Rs 23,999 and the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G 8GB/128GB storage model costs Rs 24,999.


In terms of specs, the Nord CE 2, sports a 6.43-inch Full HD+ display. There is a hole-punch cutout at the top left corner of the device that houses the front camera. The AMOLED display supports a 90Hz refresh rate and comes with HDR10+ certification and has an aspect ratio of 20:9. There is also a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. The Nord CE 2 5G is fitted with a 4500 mAh battery that supports the company's proprietary 65W fast charging, which is similar to what we have seen on the Nord 2. A MediaTek Dimensity 900 powers the phone. In terms of software, the Nord CE 2 runs Oxygen OS 11 based on Android 11 out of the box. The device also supports storage expansion via a microSD card slot. The new Nord also comes with a standard 3.5mm headphone jack.


In terms of imaging, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G has a triple camera setup at the rear led by a 64MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultrawide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, a 119-degree field of view, and a 2MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the hole-punch cutout in the device houses a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor.


The new OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G will compete in the budget category with the likes of Xiaomi 11i, Realme 9 Pro+ and so on.
