The Nothing Phone 1 is back in stock in black and white colours on e-commerce site Flipkart after a brief hiatus -- the handset was not available for a short time after Nothing increased the prices of the Nothing Phone 1. According to Carl Pei's consumer tech brand, “all Phone 1 models are available now" even as one of the top-end Nothing Phone 1 models is still “sold out”.
Which Nothing Phone 1 variants are now available on Flipkart
The Nothing Phone 1 is now made available again on Flipkart in both black and white colour variants. However, when it comes to storage models, not all of the storage models are available for both colourways.
The Nothing Phone 1 in black colour can be purchased in all three storage configurations: 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB, but the white colour variant of Nothing Phone 1 is available only in one storage configuration: 8GB/256GB variant. The white colour model of Nothing Phone 1 in 8GB/128GB and the 12GB/256GB storage configurations is out of stock.
Nothing Phone 1's new increased prices
earlier last week, Carl Pei's consumer tech brand Nothing increased the price of its newly-launched Nothing Phone 1 by Rs 1,000 which made the Nothing Phone 1 cost Rs 33,999 for the base 8GB/128GB model which was earlier priced at Rs 32,999. According to the London-headquartered handset maker, it increased the price of the Nothing Phone 1 in the wake of the rising component costs and fluctuating exchange rates.

"Plenty has changed since we started building Phone (1), including economic factors such as fluctuating currency exchange rates and rising component costs. In response to the current climate, we’ve had to make a change to our prices. Starting today, Phone (1) will be available for 8GB/128GB (INR 33,999), 8GB/256GB (INR 36,999), and the 12GB/256GB (INR 39,999),” a statement from the handset maker read.
Meanwhile, the Nothing Phone 1 has been in a number of controversies since its launch with the recent one being regarding the smartphone's advertised peak brightness which fell short in a real-world test. The newly-launched Nothing Phone 1 had previously advertised that it is capable of achieving a peak brightness of 1200 nits, but according to a real-world test by a German tech publication named ComputerBase, the Nothing Phone 1 could not go beyond a peak brightness of 700 nits.
