HP has unveiled its latest line-up of Omen and Victus gaming laptops that would compete head-on with the recently launched Lenono Legion Slim series of gaming laptops in India. Notably, Asus also launched its portfolio of 13 new gaming laptops in India a few weeks ago. HP's new new range of gaming laptops includes Omen Transcend 16, Omen 16 and Victus 16 laptops. The new portfolio of HP's gaming laptops come equipped with the advanced OMEN "Tempest Cooling" feature, that claims to ensure intense cooling even during top titles gameplay and multi-applications workload. Buyers can configure these Omen and Victus laptops with Nvidia RTX 4000-series GPUs. The Victus 16 is the most affordable among the three new devices. All the three gaming laptops come with 13th-Gen Intel Core processors, similar to the newly unveiled Lenono Legion Slim series of laptops.

The HP Omen 16 (2023) comes at a starting price of Rs 1,04,999 while the HP Omen Transcend 16 (2023) laptop comes at a starting price of Rs 1,59,999. The starting price of the HP Victus 16 (2023) has been set at Rs 59,999.


The Omen Transcend 16 Laptop is said to be HP’s thinnest and lightest gaming PC with strong performance capabilities with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 series graphics and 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900HX processor. It is built for gaming and creation with a cutting-edge screen, premium slim chassis and high-end internal components. The Omen Transcend 16 from HP weighs under 2.1kg and is 19.9 mm thick. The laptop has a hefty 97Wh battery pack and also the Omen Tempest cooling system. The laptop also features two Thunderbolt 4 ports and Wi-Fi 6e support.


The HP Victus 16 might be among one of the most affordable gaming laptops from HP this year. The Victus 16 has a 16.1-inch display with Full-HD resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. HP has claimed "robust" colling with Omen Tempest Cooling solution as well as an IR thermopile sensor.


The HP Omen 16 has some similaraties with the HP Victus (2023) albeit for a different design language. The gaming laptop comes with a 16.1-inch display with up to QHD resolution and a refresh rate of 240Hz.
