Singapore-headquartered Dyson on Wednesday forayed into the wearables category with the launch of its first headphones. The company launched the Dyson Zone headphones in India on October 4 as the first device in its audio lineup. The headphones have been launched for Rs 59,900, which is the same as the Apple AirPods Max. There is a Zone Absolute+ variant with an extra filter and multiple port charger and its price has been set at Rs 64,900. The headphones have been made available for buying via the company website starting October 4.

Both models come with electrostatic carbon filters, USB-C charging cable, Visor Sleeve and a Visor Cleaning brush. The premium version comes with two carbon filters.

The Dyson Zone headphones feature three ANC modes: Isolation, Conversation, and Transparency. The Isolation mode provides the highest level of ANC while the Conversation mode automatically activates when the wearer dips the visor. The Transparency mode on the headphones enables awareness of the surroundings by boosting audio frequencies.

The headphones offer high-fidelity audio while providing optimal comfort, the company claims. There are comfort pads so that the device can adapt to the shape of the ear of any owner, thanks to the density of foam and the clamping force of the headband. Inspired by the "shape and design of a horse's saddle", the Dyson Zone noise-cancelling headphones are designed to distribute weight evenly across both sides of the head, and not on the top. The headphones have also been designed, taking into account, a diverse range of head types across the world to adapt to all owners.

The Dyson Zone headphones support Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and also feature a standard 3.5mm audio jack and USB-C port for charging. There is a 2,600mAh lithium-ion battery with up to 50 hours of playback alone. This number reduces to a maximum of four hours when combined with air purification functionality and audio.
