Dyson WashG1: Features

Magic Sponge & Counter Rotating Rollers

The Dyson WashG1 uses two independently powered rollers that rotate in opposite directions, while a pulse-modulated pump ensures water is evenly distributed across 26 hydration points along each roller's full width. These rollers are made from highly absorbent microfiber material, with an impressive density of 64,800 filaments per square centimeter.

This design allows for efficient absorption of liquid spills, while dry dirt, debris, and hair are captured by the millions of filaments. With the rollers positioned at both the front and back of the device, the machine maximizes contact with stains, enabling longer dwell time for effective and rapid stain removal with every pass.

Pioneering Separation Technology

Dyson's advanced separation technology ensures hygienic, no-touch disposal by separating debris and dirty water at the source. Durable extraction plates efficiently remove dirty water from the rollers, while secondary inner brush bars with nylon bristles clear dirt and debris from the microfiber rollers, directing it into a detachable debris tray. The debris tray features a 500-micron mesh that filters out larger debris from the dirty water. Powered by an extraction pump, the dirty water is collected in a separate 0.8-litre tank, preventing larger debris from passing through the machine.

By keeping debris in the machine’s head and the dirty water in a separate tank, disposal becomes more sanitary and convenient. For user-friendly maintenance, the Dyson WashG1 is designed without sharp internal edges or crevices, minimizing dirt buildup. Both water tanks have wide openings to allow easy access for cleaning and maintenance. Additionally, after each use, the machine's self-cleaning mode activates, saturating the rollers with clean water at maximum boost to thoroughly flush the system, ensuring it's ready for the next cleaning session.

Customised Hydration Control For An Optimum Floor Finish

The Dyson WashG1 offers adjustable hydration control, enabling users to choose the right level of water flow based on the type of debris, flooring, or their personal cleaning preferences. The cleaner provides three hydration modes—low, medium, and high—that run continuously once selected, delivering increasing levels of water as needed.

Additionally, each mode is equipped with three sensitivity settings, allowing for further customization to suit specific cleaning tasks. For tougher messes, a dedicated boost mode button releases the maximum amount of water to saturate the rollers, making it easier to tackle stubborn dirt and dried-on stains.
