The humanoid robots are designed to handle a variety of everyday tasks, such as walking, babysitting, grocery shopping, mowing the lawn, and more. Musk referred to this AI development as "the biggest product ever of any kind." The origins of Tesla's Optimus robots trace back to 2021 when the concept, initially known as Tesla bots, was first introduced.

Since then, Tesla has focused on advancing these humanoid robots, providing them with substantial upgrades along the way.

Tesla Optimus Robot Pricing Revealed (Expected)

Elon Musk has revealed that the Tesla Optimus robots are expected to be priced between $20,000 (Around Rs 16.81 lakhs) and $30,000 (Approx Rs 25.21 lakhs). Although the robots are still under development and the final version has yet to be completed, they will have a starting price of $20,000 once they become available to consumers. These robots are designed to do more than just household tasks—they could also be valuable in professional and business environments.

During a previous shareholder event, Musk mentioned that Tesla would produce a limited number of these humanoid robots before their official release. Their performance will be tested in Tesla’s factories by next year to assess their efficiency. Musk is also optimistic that Optimus could significantly boost Tesla’s market valuation, with the potential to raise it by $25 trillion in the future.
