New Delhi: The latest Amazfit smartwatches from Zepp Health, formerly known as Huami, are getting the latest software update now. Unveiled in October, the most premium GTR 3 Pro is getting the update that is labeled 8.26.3.1 and it adds a GoPro mini app in the Zepp app store, adds a background app status indicator for watch faces, manual altitude calibration, and other improvements to the system along with fixes for some bugs.
The Amazfit GTS 3 is also reportedly getting the update that is labeled 7.30.3.1, with the same changelog. However, there is no information on the firmware update pertaining to GTR 3, according to a report by Tizen Help. The changelog for these three watches is the same except new app, and it is now available to install in all the major countries, the report added.
The latest in the Amazfit series, the GTR 3 Pro, the GTR 3 and the GTS 3 were launched in India in October with the company's proprietary Zepp OS with support for third-party apps. All three smartwatches have more than 150 sports modes and can automatically recognise eight sports, offer a range of health monitoring sensors such as 24x7 heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitoring, among others.
The top-tier Amazfit GTR 3 Pro was launched in India for Rs 18,999 while both the Amazfit GTR 3 and the Amazfit GTS 3 were launched for Rs 13,999. As part part of a special offer, Amazfit was initially offering a Rs 1,000 discount on the three models. The Amazfit GTR 3 Pro comes in Brown Leather and Infinite Black colours while the Amazfit GTR 3 is available in Moonlight Gray and Thunder Black colours and the Amazfit GTS 3 is available in Graphite Black, Ivory White, and Terrar Rose colour variants.
