New Delhi: The much-anticipated Galaxy S21 FE from Samsung is likely to debut on January 3 at 6pm Pacific Time and go on sale on January 11, says a new leak. According to famed tipster Jon Prosser, the smartphone could be announced on January 3, but Samsung's keynote event is scheduled for January 4 at 6:30pm.

"I’m hearing that the announcement for the S21 FE has been moved up to Monday, January 3rd @ 6pm PST general availability is still on january 11th," the tipster tweeted from his official handle @jon_prosser.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE that was supposed to be unveiled weeks ago missed deadlines due to several reasons and also the global chipset crisis.

The tipster has also shared four frontal renders of the Galaxy S21 FE on Twitter with different wallpapers but all of them showed January 11.

Earlier this month, details of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G were spotted on Samsung's support page. The official render of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE had also gone live on the company's support page for the UAE region before being taken down. Another report suggested that when Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is unveiled in January, it will be available in India, among other countries, in the first wave of launch. The Galaxy S21 FE is likely to be shipping with both a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 and an Exynos 2100 chipset, depending on the region, as usual.

While it is known that the Galaxy FE lineup comprises the upper-mid-range segment of handsets, the Galaxy S22 will be the next flagship series from Samsung. According to reports, the delay in long awaited Galaxy S21 FE is attributed to the global semiconductor crisis and not due to a strategy by the South Korean handset major.
