Microsoft has increased the conversation limits on its Bing AI to 10 chats per session and a total of 120 chats per day, as compared to the previous limits of six chats per session and 100 per day.
Yusuf Mehdi, the Corporate Vice President & Consumer Chief Marketing Officer at Microsoft, announced the change via Twitter and also mentioned that the company's engineering team has been making steady progress with the quality of experience, which has given them the confidence to expand testing.
Previously, the company had limited Bing AI to five chat turns per session and 50 per day, following reports of unsettling behaviour during chat sessions.

However, Microsoft increased the limitations to six chats per session and 60 per day, before eventually raising the total number of chats per day to 100, which was announced by Mikhail Parakhin, the head of Web services at Microsoft.
In another tweet, Mehdi said that in the past 30 days, Bing saw a total of 45 million chats. He added that the browser has passed 100 million daily active users (DAUs).
Meanwhile, Apple is not allowing an update to an email app BlueMail on the App Store that uses a customised version of ChatGPT's language model, over concerns about generation of inappropriate content for children, the media has reported.
BlueMail app's founder Ben Volach took to Twitter to express displeasure and mentioned he disagrees with the tech giant's decision.
