DMK revolves around "crown price" Udhayanidhi Stalin, said Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai on Tuesday. He criticized DMK-led government for neglecting the agriculture sector and farmers. Alleging that even as the government was opening liquor shops, he said that the agriculture sector which impact farmers was completely ignored. On Tuesday, Annamalai was undertaking the third phase of "En Mann En Makkal" yatra in Bhavani of Erode district in Tamil Nadu.

Addressing the yatra, Annamalai, as per ANI, said, DMK is ignoring the agriculture sector and farmers but they are opening liquor shops.

"DMK government thinks poor people should stay poor. The state government is revolving around 'prince' Udhayanidhi Stalin," he said.

TN BJP chief said that attempts were being made to eliminate Santana Dharma in Tamil Nadu.

He said, a few people are trying to get rid of Sanatana Dharma in TN but there is a history that English collector Willam Sen went and worshipped goddess Vedanayaki in 1802.

"When foreigners are not able to abolish 'Sanatana Dharma' how can DMK abolish it?" he asked.

Stating that smoking was harmful to people, he said, DMK was harmful to the public.

He listed scandals including 2G that allegedly took place in the previous DMK-Congress alliance.

"Not even a small pin corruption complaint came up against any of 60 Ministers in PM Modi's cabinet. BJP's goal is to provide electricity and gas connections to every household water connection in future," he said.

On the 'dynasty politics', Annamalai alleged that DMK does not encourage women leaders but highlights MP Kanimozhi as she is the daughter of former CM Karunanidhi. However, he said, BJP brought 33 per cent reservation for women in politics through the Women's Reservation law.
