New Delhi: Madras High Court on Monday ordered a fresh autopsy of the Class 12 girl student -- who allegedly committed suicide -- after the victim's father moved the court seeking a second postmortem examination as he suspect it to be a murder. The postmortem report pointed out that the victim appeared to have died of hemorrhage and shock due to multiple injuries.

Madras High Court Justice N Sathish Kumar directed the Tamil Nadu government to form special teams to identify those who indulged in violence on Sunday over the girl student's death, as per news agency ANI's report. As per the report, police produced a total of 120 accused in the Kallakurichi court of Tamil Nadu in connection with the violence that broke out in the town on Sunday.

The girl's father alleged that there were injuries on his daughter's dead body that suggested she had struggled due to someone before her death. He filed a petition saying his wife rushed to school upon learning of the girl's death. She noticed bloodstains about 10 feet away from the body on the hostel verandah wall, alleging the bloodstain was of a palm mark of the girl, he further said in the petition.

"There were injury marks on her body. My family was not allowed to see the hostel room, nor was I allowed to interact with my daughter's roommates," he said, as quoted by New Indian Express.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, protests intensified in Tamilnadu's Kallakurichi district as protestors set school buses and other vehicles on fire over the death of a class 12 girl student's death, who left behind a note alleging that she was being tortured by two teachers.
