The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) passed 23 resolutions, including two condemning the DMK government for law and order issues and alleged corruption in the distribution of cyclone relief funds on Tuesday. The AIADMK General Council and Executive Committee meeting took place at Shrivaaru Venkataachalapathy Palace in Vanagaram, Chennai. This meeting holds significance as it is the first one following the recognition of Edappadi as the General Secretary of AIADMK by the Election Commission and the Supreme Court.














AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami addressed the party's General Council and Executive Committee meeting, in Chennai. "Tamil Nadu is number one in the country because AIADMK has ruled the state for 30 years under the guidance of MGR and Jayalalithaa. No party has ruled Tamil Nadu for 30 years like AIADMK," he said.


During the meeting, EPS clarified once again that there won't be an alliance with BJP.

The adopted resolutions include appreciation for Edappadi Palaniswami's guidance as the General Secretary of AIADMK and acknowledging the success of the AIADMK Conference in Madurai. The remaining resolutions such as condemning the DMK government for not taking sufficient precautionary measures during the North East Monsoon and Cyclone Michaung, affecting people's lives and resolutions condemning the Tamil Nadu government for not telecasting live assembly sessions and intentionally disconnecting during the Opposition leader's speech were also adopted on Tuesday, as per a report on ANI.














In addition to the 23 resolutions, a special resolution was passed during the meeting, stating that the 100th birthday of MGR's wife and former CM, VN Janaki, would be celebrated grandly by the AIADMK.
