Chennai: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi who resumed day 3 of Bharat Jodo Yatra in Nagercoil met the makers of 'Village Cooking Channel' on YouTube, on Friday. Previously, Rahul Gandhi took part in the show made by Village Cooking Channel for making mushroom biryani ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections in 2021. 


The Congress also tweeted about the meet with a caption, “Making memories along the way. #BharatJodoYatra🇮🇳”

Rahul Gandhi started the yatra after hoisting a flag in Nagercoil on Friday. Many padayatris and locals joined Rahul Gandhi for the march on Friday.

According to the schedule, Rahul Gandhi resumed padayatra from Scott Christian College at 7 am on Friday. At 10 am, he will reach Muttidichan Parai Church in Puliyoorkurichi. At 1 pm, he will take part in an interaction with the media. Later, he will resume padayatra and reach Azhagiyamandapam Junction in Kanyakumari at 7 pm.


Meanwhile, a video of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi drinking coconut water went viral. Another picture of Congress general secretary KC Venugopal resting on a bench during the 14 km-long journey on the first day of Bharat Jodo Yatra was also doing the rounds on social media. 


On Thursday, Rahul Gandhi also visited a 101-year-old school in Suchindram town where Mahatma Gandhi stopped by during his tour in South India in 1937. The school administration also had preserved the signature of the father of the nation.
