Madurai: With the second wave of Covid in the country on a declining trend, the state governments are slowly unlocking with easing of lockdown crubs, in efforts to boost the frayed economy in the country. Rightly so, people have started opening their shutters but simultaneously the governments have been warning to be aware of the repurcussions of the virus. In one such interesting attempt, a salon in Tamil Nadu's Madurai is providing a 50 per cent offer to its customers who enter with a vaccine certificate, in a bid to bring in more awareness among people of Madurai.

"We offer 50% off to vaccinated customers to raise awareness about the vaccine. We should be vaccinated to avoid the third wave," said a salon's owner in Madurai, Karthikeyan.
