UP Weather Updates: IMD Predicts Severe Cold Wave In Uttar Pradesh
The Met department has not predicted rain in UP today. However, the state could be impacted by severe cold wave this year. It is said that the La Nina storm is the reason for cold wave conditions.
As Diwali approaches, the temperature is also moderately dropping in UP. People feel chilly, especially in the morning and evening. Now people have shut down their ceiling fans and are sleeping with blankets. Meanwhile, in many parts of UP, the morning started with a mild cold today (Monday). The Met department (Weather Department) has already predicted a severe cold wave this year in UP. According to the Met Department, La Nina occurring in the Pacific Ocean can cause severe cold wave conditions.

The Met department has not predicted rain in UP today. However, some regions of the state may experience a temperature drop.
Temperature in different regions:
Compared to yesterday, i.e. Sunday, the capital Lucknow recorded a drop in minimum temperature. Lucknow recorded a maximum temperature of 31 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was 15 degrees Celsius today. Agra recorded a maximum temperature of 29 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 16 degrees Celsius today. Similarly, Bareilly recorded a maximum temperature of 29 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 15 degrees Celsius. Unnao recorded a drop in maximum temperature. Today, Unnao's maximum temperature is 30 degrees Celsius and the minimum 17 degrees Celsius.
