Regarding the upcoming assembly elections, Maurya said, "Akhilesh and Mayawati are infatuating about being in power. We plan to grow, while they plan to increase the caste divide." He claimed that Akhilesh Yadav will be unable to stop BJP's victory in the assembly elections by using hooliganism, and that BJP would be victorious not only in the 2022 Vidhan Sabha elections but also in the national elections of 2024.

In a tweet, Akhilesh Yadav said that new political strategies on women and youth are being ideated and the 2022 UP Vidhan Sabha elections would be a democratic revolution.
