Three Crude Bombs Hurled Near Home Of Atiq Ahmed's Lawyer In Prayagraj. Video
Police claimed that the incident that took place this afternoon in the Katra neighborhood did not result in any injuries.
A crude bomb was hurled near the home of slain gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmad's lawyer in Prayagraj, news agency PTI reported. However, there were no casualties, police said. "Three bombs were hurled. I think there is a big conspiracy behind this. All this is being done to intimidate me," claimed Daya Shankar Mishra, lawyer of slain gangster Atiq Ahmad, on crude bomb explosions near his house.

Police claimed that the incident that took place this afternoon in the Katra neighborhood did not result in any injuries.
Ram Mohan Rai, the SHO of the Kernalganj police station, asserted that Atiq's lawyer Dayashankar Mishra was not the target of the incident and that it was the result of personal animosity between two young people. The lawyer, on the other hand, said it was an effort "to create fear and terror."
"A crude bomb was hurled due to personal enmity of two youths in Katra locality. It is a coincidence that the bomb was hurled near the house of one of the advocates of Atiq Ahmad, who resides in the locality," the SHO claimed.
The police stated that further action was taken.
Atiq's Letter In Sealed Envelope Being Sent To CJI, Yogi
Atiq Ahmad's lawyer said on Tuesday that Atiq's letter with instructions to send it to the Uttar Pradesh chief minister and the chief justice of India in the event of his death was being sent to them.
"That letter in a sealed envelope is neither with me nor sent by me. It is kept somewhere else and being sent by some other person. I don't know the contents of the letter," said his lawyer Vijay Mishra.
On Saturday night, while police were escorting Atiq Ahmad (60) and his brother Ashraf to a medical college in Prayagraj for a checkup, three men posing as journalists opened fire on them from point-blank range during a media interaction.
Mishra stated to PTI, "Atiq Ahmad had said that if there were any mishap or if he was murdered, the letter in the sealed envelope should be sent to the chief justice of India and Uttar Pradesh chief minister."
The siblings, both imprisoned in Prayagraj, were in cuffs when they were killed in full perspective on camera teams. The horrifying images were widely shared on social media and television networks. Just a few hours before Asad, Ahmad's son, was shot and killed by police in Jhansi on April 13, his funeral services were held.
In connection with the murder of Umesh Pal and his two police security guards earlier this year, they were brought to Prayagraj for questioning from Gujarat and Bareilly prisons.
Ahmad had asked the Supreme Court for protection, claiming that the Uttar Pradesh Police might kill him in a fictitious encounter and that he and his family had been wrongly implicated in the murder of Umesh Pal.
