A viral video has helped Madhya Pradesh Police bust an illegal arms factory in the Morena district. In a viral video, a woman is seen washing several weapons using a brush, which prompted an investigation by the police.


After the video went viral on social media, the police identified the location and conducted a raid. Two suspects, a father and son, have been detained in connection with the case.


An illegal arms factory was being operated by the accused family members in Ganeshpura village, located in the Porsa tehsil area of Morena district. The operation came to light after the video surfaced online.

It can be seen in the viral video that Shakti Kapoor's wife is polishing a pistol (desi gun) in her house. The local police got this information through social media. When the police began probing, they came to know that an illegal arms factory was running in Ganeshpura village under the Porsa tehsil area of ​​the district.


Police Conducts Raid, Case Registered


The police then raided the specified location, and arrested Shakti Kapoor and his father, Biharilal, as they attempted to flee with weapons and other manufacturing materials. The raid resulted in the recovery of a 315-bore gun, a 315-bore pistol, and a 32-bore pistol, along with several semi-manufactured weapons, construction materials, and equipment. Shakti Kapoor and his father were subsequently taken into custody.






The Mahua police station in Morena district has registered a case against the two under the Arms Act. Currently, the police are interrogating Shakti Kapoor to uncover details about the production and sale of the illegal weapons and to identify others involved in the operation.
