BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda is set to visit Kerala marking his first visit to the state following the recent Lok Sabha elections. During his visit, Nadda is expected to participate in an expanded executive meeting of the state BJP in Thiruvananthapuram and attend another crucial meeting with state party leaders.
Nadda's visit comes after the BJP's significant performance in the recent Lok Sabha elections, where the party not only opened its seat tally in Kerala but also increased its vote share substantially. The BJP made gains in nearly a dozen assembly constituencies and contested directly in several Lok Sabha seats, including Thiruvananthapuram and Pathanamthitta.

From an organizational standpoint, Nadda's visit to Kerala is highly significant. He will arrive in Thiruvananthapuram at 11:40 AM, where senior party officials will give him a grand welcome. At 12:20 PM, he will participate in an important organisational meeting in Thiruvananthapuram, according to a press release of BJP.
At 3:55 PM, Nadda will reach the Girideepam Convention Center in Thiruvananthapuram, where he will address the extended executive meeting of the Kerala BJP. Following this, he will conduct another important meeting with senior party leaders of the state at the same venue.
Nadda's visit is expected to bolster the party's organizational structure and strategize future plans for the BJP in Kerala, building on the momentum gained in the recent elections.
In the recently concluded Lok Sabha Elections, BJP opened its account for the first time in Kerala with actor-politician Suresh Gopi winning from Thrissur Lok Sabha seat by a margin of 72,000 votes. He also pushed Congress candidate Muraleedharan to the third spot in the seat after Sunilkumar of CPI who secured the second spot with over 3,37,000 votes.
