At least four people died in a massive explosion at a fireball manufacturing factory in the Daulatabad Industrial Area of Gurugram, NDTV reported citing officials. The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday. A video from the scene captured the entire area illuminated by the explosion, with a large cloud of smoke and soot rising into the night sky.






Approximately 24 fire engines were dispatched to the site to control the fire."We brought fire tenders from nearby fire stations and blasts were still happening then. Around 24 fire tenders were deployed in the operation. This factory manufactures fireballs which are like a fire extinguisher," fire officer Ramesh Kumar told NDTV.










The explosion, which happened around 3 AM, also caused damage to nearby buildings, according to the fire officer. The victims were identified as Kaushik, Arun, and Ram Avadh. 


Officials, as reported by NDTV, stated that about 15 people were inside the factory at the time of the incident. A five-member team has been formed to investigate the cause of the explosion. 


Witnesses reported hearing explosions throughout the night. The blasts were so powerful that several kilos of iron sheets were hurled around, causing damage worth lakhs of rupees to nearby panels and companies in the vicinity.
