Delhi: 11-Year-Old Girl Raped By Tenant's Son, Family Threatened To Remain Quiet. 2 Arrested
A 22-year-old man in Delhi was arrested for raping an 11-year-old girl, who is the daughter of his tenant. Both the accused and his father have been arrested.
In another shocking incident, a 22-year-old man was apprehended on Saturday for allegedly raping his tenant's 11-year-old daughter in the Northeast Karawal Nagar area of Delhi, police reported. The suspect, identified as Suraj, was apprehended after the arrest of his father, who is the landlord, on Friday.
Delhi Police told news agency ANI, "The girl lives with her family on rent. On the 13th, the landlord's 22-year-old son, Suraj, raped the girl and when the girl's family went to inform the landlord, Kartar Singh, he instead threatened the girl's family. Both accused Suraj and his father, Kartar Singh, have been arrested."

Delhi Rape Case: 11-Year-Old Lured By Accused Under Guise Of Watching TV, Threatened To Keep Quiet
According to news agency PTI, the police informed that the incident allegedly occurred on Tuesday when the accused lured the young girl to his home under the guise of watching television. It is claimed that he assaulted her and threatened her to keep quiet about the incident.
Following the assault, the girl experienced pain and bleeding from her genital area that night. Her parents rushed her to the hospital, where she disclosed the assault. An FIR was subsequently filed with the police, PTI reported. The accused had fled after the incident but was arrested on Friday. His father, who is alleged to have aided in his escape, was also taken into custody.
On Saturday, the victim's family and relatives protested, demanding harsh punishment for the accused. They attempted to block a road but ceased their protest after a senior police officer assured them that justice would be served. The girl has been discharged from the hospital, and the police have assured that a thorough investigation is underway.
This incident coincides with nationwide protests by the medical community over the recent rape and murder of a postgraduate trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata on August 9.
