BBL 2020-21: Andrew Tye denies James Vince a ton with a wide!

James Vince could have easily scored a century in this match but a wide ball from Andrew Tye stopped him from getting a hard-fought century.

Sydney Sixers needed just 1 run to win and James Vince was just 2 runs away from scoring his century. Andrew Tye, bowling the 18th over, came and bowled the first ball, a bouncer which was placed far away from Vince.

Vince, on the other hand, looked very disappointed after this, while the spectators present in the stadium were also seen hooting against Tye. However, Tye apologized to Vince for denying him a well-deserved century.

Sydney Sixers batsman Daniel Hughes also faced hooting. In fact, when James Vince was batting on 98 runs in the 17th over, Daniel Hughes hit a boundary on the fourth ball rather than taking a single to rotate the strike. After this, fans started hooting against him.

Hughes did not score any runs from the next 3 balls after this, so that Vince could complete a century. But on the very first ball of the 18th over, Andrew Tye bowled a wide delivery and Vince could not score a century.
