UEFA Champions League: Frustrating times on the bench for the Dutch midfielder Donny Van de Beek continue, as Manchester United's manager refuses to bring him on constantly. His frustration was visible on Thursday when Manchester United played Villareal at Old Trafford.

As Solksjaer decided to make two changes in the 85th minute of the Champions League game, Donny van de Beek did not feature in those two changes which resulted in him being visibly frustrated. In a video from Man United vs Villareal Live broadcast, we can see Donny Van de Beek throwing away a bubble gum in frustration as two of his teammates - Fred and Lingard - were getting ready to being subbed.

Donny's reactions are not coming out of the blue. He was brought in from the Dutch club Ajax by the manager to improve United's performance in the midfield, but he doesn't seem to fit into the plans of Solksjaer. Donny has spent more time on the bench than on the pitch.

After a poor show by United's midfield on Thursday, it was expected that Ole would bring on van de Beek who is attacking in his approach.

Nonetheless, Cristiano Ronaldo has emerged as a saviour once again for Manchester United on a fateful European night. His 95th-minute winner against Villareal saved Ole Gunnar Solskjaer from embarrassment after a dismal managerial show.
