On the 10th day of Tokyo Olympics 2020, the Indian women's hockey team made history by reaching the semi-finals of the Olympic Games for the first time by defeating Australia in the quarterfinals.  After the women's team, on Tuesday, the 11th day of these games, India's men's hockey team also has a chance to create history by reaching the final.  But before that, the team will have to overcome the challenge of Belgium in the semi-finals.  Shot putter Tajinderpal Singh Toor will begin his Tokyo 2020 campaign with the qualification round.  At the end of the day, India will present its challenge in wrestling, with Sonam Malik taking to the mat in the women's 62kg category. Javelin throw athlete Annu Rani will compete in the first match of the day in athletics.
