New Delhi: After over two months of thrilling cricketing action in the Indian Premier League (PL) 2022, fans will get to see the Indian cricket team back in action when they take on South African cricket team in a five-match T20 International series, starting from June 9. In the coming six months, Team India has to play a lot of international matches and it will start with five matches against South Africa next month. Some senior players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have been rested from South Africa's tour of India.


BCCI has named star middle-order batter KL Rahul as India's captain for Ind vs SA T20I series. Based on the performance of IPL 2022, Dinesh Karthik, and Hardik Pandya made comeback to national squad, while youngsters Umran Malik and Arshdeep Singh have also been picked in the squad. Rishabh Pant will be the vice-captain of Team India in this series.
