The hard-hitting batsman urged anyone who is facing abuse, to reach out for help. Raina also urged everyone to follow guidelines issued by the government to curb the spread of the coronavirus outbreak.
In the tweet, Suresh Raina said, "Lockdown has taught us various ways to love & bond with our family. Though it's disturbing to read how exponentially the no. of child abuse and domestic violence cases have grown across the world. I urge anyone who is facing violence please reach out for help & don't shut yourself".
Recently, Suresh Raina and his wife Priyanka became parents for the second time as the adorable couple was blessed with a baby boy, whom they named Rio. They had become parents for the first time in 2016 when Priyanka gave birth to their daughter, Gracia.
The veteran Indian batsman took to Twitter to post the picture of his newborn baby.
"The beginning of all things – wonder, hope, possibilities and a better world! We are proud to welcome our son & Gracia's little brother - Rio Raina. May he flows beyond boundaries, bringing peace, renewal & prosperity to everyone's life," Raina said in a tweet.
