New Delhi: West Indies' legendary spinner Sunil Narine, one of the best mystery spinners in the history of the game, will play his 150th game for franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Monday when his team clashes against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 match.
Also, Narine completes a long ten-year association with Kolkata Knight Riders. Narine was acquired by Kolkata in the 2012 edition of the T20 league and ever since then, he has been a loyal member of the franchise.

Narine, the spinner popular for his mystery spin and wicket-taking ability, has bagged 147 wickets in 140 IPL matches with an economy of 6.67. The veteran also established himself as a hard-hitting batter, scoring almost 1000 runs in his IPL career so far with a remarkable strike rate of over 160.
In an interview with KKR, Narine was asked about a batter who he thinks played him the best.
He said: "I will probably have to say Virender Sehwag. I always found it tough because he was a guy who always kept the game going no matter what situation the team was in, he kept batting the way he did."
As Narine completes his 10 years with Kolkata Knight Riders, he said he wishes to end his IPL career with KKR only.
"I have always told Venky [Mysore, CEO] that hopefully I don’t play for any other franchise, I have loved my stay at KKR so hopefully I start and finish here. I think it’s a great achievement. You don’t see many overseas players stay with one franchise. Luckily, I am one of them and hopefully I can continue to be with them in the future," Narine said in an interview with KKR website.
